Aug. 5 funeral announcements

Memorial services for a West Union man, 69 year old Eugene "Gene" Hruska, are Thursday at 10:30am at Holy Name Catholic church in West Union. Friends may call 4-7pm Wednesday at the church. Schluter Balik funeral home in Decorah is handling arrangements.

Services for a Postville man, 87 year old Robert "Bob" Converse, are Monday at 11am at Community Presbyterian church in Postville. Inurnment in Postville cemetery. Visitation is 4-6pm Sunday at Schutte Grau funeral home in Postville with a 5:45pm scripture service.

Services for a Manchester man, 60 year old Steven Harring, are Sunday at 1pm at Leonard Muller funeral home in Manchester. Inurnment at a later date. Visitation is 3-7pm Saturday at the funeral home and an hour before services.

A Decorah woman, 69 year old Linda Waits, died Wednesday. A visitation will be held Tuesday, 3-6pm at Decorah Lutheran church. Burial in Lutheran cemetery. Schluter Balik funeral home is handling arrangements.
