A Charles City woman, 69 year old Jean Anderson, died Thursday; a private family service will be held at a later date. Hauser funeral home in Charles City is in charge of arrangements.

A celebration of life for a New Hampton woman, 88 year old Beverly "Jane" Carpenter, formerly of Charles City, will be held today, Monday from 5-7pm at Hauser Funeral home in Charles City, with a 7pm Memorial service. Inurnment and graveside service will be held at Rosehill cemetery in Marshalltown on Tuesday at 11am.

Services for an Aplington man, 29 year old Daniel Lacour, are Friday at 10:30am at Grace United Methodist church in Floyd. Burial in Sunnyside Memory Gardens. Friends may call 5-7pm Thursday at Hauser funeral home in Charles City, and an hour before services at the church.

Services for a Decorah man, 95 year old John Rekward, are Friday at 11am at First United Methodist church in Decorah. Burial in Phelps cemetery with military honors. Visitation is an hour before services at the church. Fjelstul funeral home is serving the family.
