A New Hampton resident, 81 year old Theresa Berst formerly of Lawler, passed away on Sunday. Funeral arrangements are pending with Hughback-Johnson Funeral Home in New Hampton.

A Protivin resident, 81 year old Joan (Bohr) Hennis, passed away on Saturday. Funeral arrangements are pending at Hughback's Protivin Funeral Home.

Services for a Calmar woman, 89 year old Ann Hageman, will be be at 10:30am on Thursday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Calmar. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3-7pm on Wednesday at the Schulter-Balik Funeral Home in Calmar, with a rosary at 4pm and a scripture service at 7pm. Visitation will continue an hour before the service at the church.

Services for an Oelwein woman, 68 year old Terri Mattocks, will be at 10:30am on Thursday at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Oelwein. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Oelwien. Visitation will be from 4-8pm on Wednesday and for an hour before the service on Thursday at the funeral home.

Services for an Osage man, 86 year old Charles "Charlie" Johnson, will be held at 10:30am on Saturday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Osage. Inurnment will be at the Osage Cemetery. There will be a gathering of family and friends from 5-7pm on Friday at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage.

Services for a Fayette woman, 88 year old Geraldine Kuhens, will be held at 10:30am on Wednesday at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Oelwein. Interment will be in Wadena Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-7pm on Tuesday and after 9:30am on Wednesday at the funeral home.

A Decorah woman, 74 year old Elaine Suhr, passed away on Friday. There will be no memorial service per her wishes, but friends may leave private condolences or sign a guestbook at www.fjelstul.com. The Fjelstul Funeral Home in Decorah is assisting the family.

Services for a Lamont woman, 93 year old Maxine Wessels, will be held today, Monday at 11am at St. John's Lutheran Church in Dundee. Burial will be at Campton Cemetery east of Lamont. Visitation will be after 10am at the church this morning.

Services for a Garnavillo man, 51 year old Michael Duwe, will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church Monday (today) at 10:30am. Visitation will be an hour before the service at the church. Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home in Guttenberg is assisting the family.

Services for an Oelwein woman, 67 year old Colleen Altstadt, will be held today, Monday at 1pm at Geilenfeld Funeral Home in Oelwein with visitation from 11am until 1pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Oelwein.

Services for a Cresco man, 89 year old Eugene "Gene" Mahr, will be held Monday, today at 11am at Notre Dame parish in Cresco. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Cresco. Visitation will be from 10am till time of the service at the church.

Services for a Waverly man, 95 year old Lavern Lampe, are Saturday at 11am at Redeemer Lutheran church in Waverly. Burial in Harlington cemetery with military graveside rites. Visitation is an hour before services at the church. Kaiser Corson funeral home in Waverly is helping the family.

Services for an Independence woman, 87 year old Julianna Fabricius, are Friday at 10:30am at Immanuel Lutheran church in Independence. Burial in Union Prairie cemetery in Decorah. Visitation is 9-10:30am Friday at the church. Reiff funeral home is handling arrangements.

Services for a former West Union and Eldorado woman, 88 year old Elaine "Peppy" Mitchell of Evergreen, Colorado, are Saturday at 11am at St. Peter Lutheran church in Eldorado, with a luncheon to follow. Burnham-Wood and S.K. Rogers funeral home in West Union is helping the family.
