April 18 funeral announcements

Services for a Spillville resident, 95 year old Camilla Taylor, will be on Wednesday at 10:30am at the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Spillville. Visitation will be from 3-7pm on Tuesday at the Balik Funeral Home in Spillville with a rosary at 4pm and a scripture service at 3pm. Visitation will continue on Wednesday after 9:30am at the church.

Services for a Lawler woman, 66 year old June  Bodensteiner, will be held at 10:30am on Wednesday at OUr Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Lawler. Burial will be at the church cememtery. Visitation will be held from 4-8pm on Tuesday at the church with a scriptural prayer service at 7:30p. Visitation will continue at the church one hour prior to the funeral mass on Wednesday.

Services for a Waucoma woman, Clarene Humpal, will be held on Saturday at 10:30am at St. Mary's Catholic CHurch in Waucoma. Internment will be in the St. Luke's Cemetery following a lucheon. Visitation will be from 4-7pm on Friday as well as prior to services on Saturday beginning at 9:30am. There will be a Parish rosary at 6pm and a scripture service at 7pm.

Services for an Elkader man, 68 year old John Raymond Koresh, will be held Wednesday at 10am at St. Joseph Catholic CHurch in Elkader.Visitaion will be on Tuesday from 4-7pm at Leonard Funeral Home in Elkader as well as one hour before services at the church on Wednesday.There will be a private family inurnment with military honor at St. Wenceslause Cahtolic Church cemetery.

Services for a Stacyville resident, 88 year old Gene Wagner, will be held at 10:30am on Thursday at the Visitation Catholic Church in Stacyville. Burial will be at the Visitation Church Cemetery with military honors at the grave. Visitation will be from 5-7pm on Wednesday at the church with a rosary at 5:30pm and a vigil service at 7pm.

Services for a Maynard resident, 73 year old Harold E. Wiedner, will be a graveside memorial serive at 10am on Saturday at Dunham Grove Cemetery in rural Randalia. Jamison-Schmitz Funeral home in Maynard is assisting the family.

Services for a Waukon resident, 78 year old Marlys Jacobs, will be held on Tuesday at 11AM at Zion United Church of Christ in waukon. Burial will in Oakland Cemetery in Waukon. Friends may call from 4-7pm today at Martin Funeral Home in Waukon.

Services for an Allison woman, 51 year old Deanna "Dee" Lynn Thompson, will be held at 11am on Thursday at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Waverly. The family will greet friends one hour prior to services at the church. A private burial of cremated remains will be held in the Harlington Cemetery in Waverly.

Services for a Aurora man, 74 year old James Kent Arnold Sr, will be held at 10:30am today at Church of Christ United in Winthrop. Burial will be at Fremont Township Cemetery. Visitation will be after 9:30am today at the church.

Services for a Randalia man, 56 year old Roy L. Piper, will be held today at 10:30am at St. paul Lutheran Church in Maynard. Interment will be at Dunham Grove Cemetery in rural Randalia. Visitation will be an hour before services today at the church.

Services for a Waverly woman, Ethel M. Anderson formerly of Waterloo, will be a private family graveside services. Visitation will be held from 3-4pm on Wednesday at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Waverly.

Services for David Charles McGinley wll be held on Tuesday at 1:30pm at the Reiff Funeral Home in Independence. Internment will be held at Wilson Cemetery.Visitation will be Tuesday from 11-1:30pm at the Funeral home.
