April 11th funeral announcements

A Newborn baby passed away on Thursday. Haiden Faith Landis was the daughter of Anthony and Liza Landis of Westgate. A Private family service will be held at Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Oelwein.

Services for a Waverly woman, 81 year old Lois Roose, will be held at 10:30am on Saturday and Redeemer Lutheran Church in Waverly. Visitation will be on Friday from 5-7:30pm at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Waverly and also one hour prior to the memorial service at the church on Saturday.

Services for a McIntire man, 70 year old Ben  Stevenson, will be held 4-7pm on Thursday at the Riceville Country Club in Riceville. Burial will be in Wayne Cemetery in McIntire at 3pm on Thursday. Hindt-Hudek Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Services for Chester woman, 87 year old Lorraine Brekke, will be held at 11am on Tuesday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Riceville followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-7pm today at the Lindstrom Funeral Home in Riceville and at the church on Tuesday from 10am until time of services.

Services for a Riceville woman, 85 year old Barbara  Lenth, will be held at 10:30am on Wednesday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Riceville. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the Lindstrom Funeral Home in Riceville on Tuesday from 6-8pm.

Services for an Aurora resident, 80 year old Andy Lightfoot Sr., will be held at 1pm on Wednesday at the Fawcett Funeral Home in Winthrop. Burial will be at Floral Hills Cemetery in Hazelton. Friends may call from 12-1pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Services for a Calmar woman, 93 year old Margaret Hageman, will be at 10:30am on Tuesday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Calmar. Burial will be at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-7pm today at the Schluter-Balik Funeral home in Calmar and also after 9:30am at the church on Tuesday. There will be a rosary at 4pm and a scripture service at 7pm today at the funeral home.

Service for a New Hampton woman, 81 year old Cecelia  Doyle, will be held at 10am on Saturday at Holy Family Parish in New Hampton. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in New Hampton. Visitation will be held from 9-10am on Saturday at the church.

Services for a Decorah resident, 90 year old Geraldine "Gerry" Steffens, will be held at 11am on Wednesday at the Decorah Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the Phelps Cemetery in Decorah. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3-7pm at the Schluter-Balik Funeral Home in Decorah and also after 10am at the church on Wednesday.

A Postville woman died today (Monday) at a Dubuque hospital; services for 65 year old Randi Louise Harris are pending at Schutte Grau funeral home in Postville.
