VINTON, Iowa (AP) — Jurors are expected to return to their deliberations Wednesday in the Benton County trial of a man accused of killing his girlfriend.

The case against David Miller went to the jury Monday afternoon. Members failed to reach a verdict Tuesday.

Miller's charged with first-degree murder in the death of 25-year-old Sabrina Janish, of Shellsburg.

Officers found Janish's body on Oct. 25 next to a stolen truck at Miller's mobile home north of Shellsburg. An autopsy showed she had been stabbed several times and strangled.
