Police Arrest Local Man, and Investigate Accident

An Oelwein man has been taken into custody on an outstanding warrant.
Early today (Wednesday, Sept. 21), Oelwein Police arrested 54 year old Myron Armbruster on a Dubuque County warrant on an original charge of Theft 2nd Degree. He was arrested in the 100 block of 9th Avenue SW.

And Oelwein Police were called out just before 7pm Tuesday evening on the report of a traffic accident in the 200 block of 6th Street NE.

A car driven by Hunter Smock collided with a parked vehicle owned by Scott Jorgenson.

No injuries were reported.
