We've all seen memorials, crosses, flowers, teddy bears, pictures, personal property.  Should these memorials be public or private?  Some are trying to police the roadside memorials, remove them for the safety of others or to clean up the view of the roadside.  What do you think?

Personally, I keep my memorials at home and in my heart.  I have been thru the tragic loss of someone dying while on a roadway and I never wanted to put the memorial where they died, because that's not where I am and it's not the place I want to visit to remember them.  In fact, one place is still hard to drive past almost 16 years later.  Honestly, I look the other way when I get to "that" location.  I get that everyone grieves differently.

Are the roadside memorials a distraction to other drivers?  I have seen some and think they are.  I have seen others and they are well done and wisely placed.  I have mixed feelings on this.  One thing I do know, everyone living, must grieve.

After seeing Fast and Furious 7, I think the memorial video was wisely done and it allows all to grieve and smile.  After all, we do all need to go on living and if you can remember to smile and laugh with your loved ones it will help you grieve, even 16 years later, like I do.

Hope this video memorial to Paul Walker will help you and maybe give you another idea for a memorial tribute.  R.I.P. one and all.
