Memorial Weekend Arrests in Oelwein

An Oelwein woman has been arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Shortly after 1pm Monday (May 30), Oelwein Police took 29 year old Amanda Rinehart into custody on a Fayette County warrant for a probation violation; the original charge was child endangerment.

A traffic stop in Oelwein early Saturday (May 28) resulted in the arrest of a local man. At about 2:30am, a vehicle driven by 26 year old Joshua Doudney of Oelwein was pulled over in the 10 block of 8th Avenue SE. He was charged with operating while intoxicated.

And an Oelwein man was arrested twice for violating a no-contact order. 35 year old Ross Cashen was arrested at about 3:30pm Friday (May 27) in the 10 block of 7th Avenue NE. He was arrested on the same charge at about 9pm Saturday (May 28).
