Local Man Arrested on Outstanding Warrant

Local authorities report that an Oelwein man has been arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Just before 11pm on May 5th, Oelwein Police took 45 year old Steven Jones into custody on a Fayette County warrant for a parole Violation. The original charges were possession of a controlled substance 3rd or subsequent, and eluding.

He was arrested in the 100 block of 5th Avenue NE.
