With just a few days left until the official opening of his biopic on the big screen, former NFL star Kurt Warner made a splash with his outerwear this week while doing commentary for a pro football game on the NFL Network.

It was at a game Monday night, but not THE game on Monday night, as Warner called the postponed game pitting the Cleveland Browns against the Las Vegas Raiders. It was a contest that had been rescheduled from the weekend due to COVID issues, but it was in Cleveland where the temperatures were in the frigid 30s. Now, granted, the two teams involved are doing a little less than spectacular this season, so it's not surprising that as soon as folks saw this jacket, social media blew up. From burrito to astronaut, to, fittingly this time of year, a Hershey's kiss, the comparisons kept coming.

Even the NFL Network had a little fun with it. I also want to know why his commentary partner, Joe Davis, looks like Joe Buck with dyed hair.

The social media team for Kurt's upcoming movie had some fun too:

According to the Sporting News, Warner had a sense of humor about it, posting a couple of tweets himself:

Not to mention, it's obviously drawing comparisons to George Costanza's coat on Seinfeld.

I mean, now that Kurt's a big tinseltown star, you can't blame him for wanting to look the part. "American Underdog" premieres in theaters this weekend.
