Food Truck Tuesdays Will Return to Cedar Rapids in May

A popular weekly event is getting set to return to NewBo City Market this summer! Get ready for FOOD TRUCK TUESDAYS!

Food Truck Tuesdays will happen every Tuesday from May 7th until August 27th, right outside of the market. The official event page reads:

"From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., we'll have a variety of food trucks stationed under the awning in the Market yard. Come dine on some delicious area foods and soak up the summer weather!"

Each week's lineup is different, so you can expect to see quite a few area food trucks at NewBo City Market throughout the summer. Although we don't know exactly who will be attending in 2024 just yet, some of the businesses that have participated in the past include:

• Bitter Sweet Coffee & Ice Cream Camper
• Keepin up with the Jones's Mobile Catering
• Porfirio's Mexican Restaurant
• Caribbean Kitchen
• La Reyna Iowa
• Aroma Artisan Pizza
• O's Grill
• Smiley’s Soup and Sandwiches
• Loosiescr
• Moo Moo's Ice Cream Truck

Speaking of events at NewBo City Market, the free Rock the Block summer concert series will officially return on May 10th with the Surf Zombies! The event will run every Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. through August 23rd. You can check out a full lineup of bands for 2024 HERE.
