Independence BrewBQ Set For August 26th
The 12th annual Independence BrewBQ once again features several craft beers, barbecue, free live music, and more. The event is slated for Saturday, August 26, 2017.
A day filled with slow-cooked and smoked BBQ, a variety of craft beers, and free live music sounds too perfect to be true, but that's what awaits you at this year's Independence BrewBQ. The event takes place at the Iowa Riverwalk Parks on August 26 (4:00PM - 9:00 PM).
The Craft Brew Zone, which is open 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM, will features over 75 craft brews. You can buy your Craft Brew Zone passes in advance or at the gate. They've added something new for the 12th annual event, they have a limited number of "V.I.P. Craft Brew Zone" pass. This allows you to enter into the Craft Brew Zone at 3:00 PM. That gives you one full hour to sample before anyone else. Plus, they may have a few exclusive offerings during the V.I.P. hour.
PHILO will headline the free live music part of the celebration. Everyone is invited to come to the Iowa Riverwalk Parks for the free entertainment. Bring your lawn chair or a blanket and enjoy the music.
Make plans to have supper at the BrewBQ. Once again, outstanding BBQ, slow cooked and smoked, will be available for purchase. Vendors will also have a nice menu selection of food and standard beverages.
