Donutland is celebrating 50 years in business in Eastern Iowa, and to say thanks and celebrate, they are giving back to the community in a big way. It coincides with the forthcoming National Donut Day, on June 4. We'll be sure to keep you posted on specials they're having for that occasion, but meanwhile, according to Iowa's News Now they've kicked off a fundraising campaign that will help a great local organization in the area.

What is "Courage & Cravings"?

Now through June 4, the goal is to send 50 kids to Camp Courageous for free. Camp Courageous is a recreational facility and camp designed to serve special needs children, located in Monticello.

How can I help?

You should keep your eye on their Facebook page or ask in-store about promotions. The campaign started on May 21, so they've already offered a few opportunities to make purchases of coffee, donuts, and limited-time Donutland-themed merchandise for sale with proceeds going toward their goal. Since they started on the 21st, they are already well on their way, having raised enough to send six kids to camp!
