I don't know about you, but some of my favorite watering holes are right on Main Street in Cedar Falls. Friday nights you'll probably see me dropping in to at least one of these bars.

Iowa City residents are getting a taste of the night life in Cedar Falls with the newly renovated Iowa City Pedestrian (Ped) Mall.

Three popular bars that you see on Main Street in Cedar Falls are opening right next to each other in Iowa CIty.

According to reports, a Minnesota-based developed has been working to renovate parts of Ped Mall in Iowa City. This is a popular spot for many University of Iowa students.

Half of this multi-million dollar project has been completed which means that the three Cedar Falls bars owned by Darin Beck of Paramount Barco, are open or are just about to open.

Roxxy, Double Tap, and Stuffed Olive are all coming to Iowa City and will be a part of the new Ped Mall area.

Stuffed Olive had a soft opening earlier this week, Roxxy's opened for business last year, and the arcade bar Double Tap will open sometime in June.
