Hy-Vee Recalls Cream Cheese Spread, Snack Mix
Hy-Vee is voluntarily recalling some of it's cream cheese spread and a to-go snack mix.
Before you put cream cheese on your bagel in the morning, be careful if it's Hy-Vee brand. A new recall has been issued. It is due to a potential salmonella contamination for a selection of Hy-Vee's cream cheese spreads. The products are made at different third-party facilities and were sold at Hy-Vees, Hy-Vee Drugstores, Dollar Fresh Markets, and Hy-Vee Fast and Fresh convenience stores.
There have been no confirmed reports of salmonella linked to these products but Hy-Vee is just recalling them to be super cautious.

Salmonella symptoms include fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. Again, there hasn't been any reported illnesses connected to this recall. So your bagel from this morning should be okay.
