Now that the weather is getting a little bit warmer, we've got outdoor spring and summer activities on the brain! One of the biggest events here in Cedar Rapids each year is the Cedar Rapids Downtown Farmers Market. Each market features around 200 vendors and draws in an average of 12,000 people!

The Cedar Rapids Downtown Farmers Markets take place on Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., except for the special Market After Dark. Here are all the 2024 dates on the official schedule:

  • May 25th
  • June 1st
  • June 15th
  • July 6th
  • July 20th
  • August 3rd
  • August 17th
  • September 21st

The 2024 Market After Dark is scheduled for Saturday, August 24th from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. The free, open-air event attracts anywhere from 30,000 to 55,000 attendees and features 100 different vendors, live music and entertainment, food, drinks, and more!     • 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. (8 a.m. to 12 p.m. in October)
  • Iowa City Farmers Market - Chauncey Swan Parking Ramp & Park in Iowa City
    • Saturdays from May through October
    • 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Taube Park Farmers Market - Taube Park in Marion
    • Saturdays from May through September
    • 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
  • Hiawatha Farmers Market - 10th Avenue Parking Lot of Guthridge Park in Hiawatha
    • Sundays from May through October
    • 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Cedar Falls Farmers Market - Overman Park in Downtown Cedar Falls
    • Saturdays from May through October
    • 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m
