FUNERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS -- JUNE 14, 2019:

A former Manchester woman, 91-year-old Florence Evelyn Hill, of Mount Vernon, died on Thursday, June 13th at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 22nd at 10 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mount Vernon with interment at Oakland Cemetery in Manchester. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at the church.

A Fredericksburg man, 75-year-old Larry Goodwin, died Sunday, June 9th in Sumner. Funeral arrangements are pending with Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home and Crematory in Fredericksburg.

A Lawler man, 76-year-old Russell A. Howe, Jr., died on Wednesday, June 12th at his home. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM Monday, June 17th at Conway-Markham Funeral Home in New Hampton. Burial will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4 to 7 PM at Conway-Markham Funeral Home in New Hampton and Monday one hour prior to service to time, also at the funeral home.

A Decorah woman, 82-year-old Mary Lou Rauk-Snitker, died peacefully at her home on Wednesday, June 12th. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 18th at 11 AM at Big Canoe Lutheran Church in rural Decorah. Burial will be in the Big Canoe Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation is Monday from 4 to 7 PM at Fjelstul Funeral Home in Decorah and Tuesday beginning at 10 AM, one hour before the service, at Big Canoe Lutheran Church.

An Elma man, 86-year-old William "Willie" C. Ludwig, died Wednesday, June 12th at his home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 2 PM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Lourdes. Burial will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Lourdes. Visitation will be held Sunday from 4 to 7 PM at Conway-Markham Funeral Home in Elma, with a Rosary at 4:30 PM and a Scriptural Wake Service at 7 PM. The Wake Service will continue Monday from 1 to 2 PM at the church.

A Charles City woman, 88-year-old Constantina Pota Micich, died Friday, June 14th at home. Funeral services are pending with Hugeback Johnson Funeral Home in New Hampton.
