
Dysart Man Seriously Hurt In Black Hawk County Accident
A man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries following a single-vehicle accident south of Waterloo over the weekend.
Black Hawk County sheriff's officials said David Hamilton, 42, of Dysart, was taken to a Waterloo hospital for treatment, then later was flown to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. In a press release, authorities described Hamilton's injuries as "life-threatening".
Deputies were called to the scene of the crash in the 10,300 block of Dysart Road (County Road V-37) around 4 AM Sunday (Dec. 16, 2018). When they arrived, authorities found Hamilton's black Lexus had left the pavement and rolled into a ditch.
The accident remains under investigation.
