Deputies Respond to Rural Maynard Accident Scene

A Maynard man is being charged with causing a two vehicle accident, by not yielding to the other vehicle.

Shortly after 3pm Monday (Aug. 17), the Fayette County Sheriff was called to the accident scene, at the intersection of 110th Street and "M" Avenue, just east of Maynard. A northbound pickup driven by 67 year old David Ward of Maynard ran into a westbound SUV driven by a juvenile girl.
No one was injured. Ward is being charged with Failure to Yield to the Driver on the Right.
