COVID Got You Stressed Out? Iowan’s Can Get Free Brain Coaching
Thankfully, we're on the correct end of the (hopefully) once every one-hundred-years pandemic. Our state and the nation are opening up more and more each day. Being able to dine out, go to concerts and sporting events is fantastic, but that doesn't mean that the stress of dealing with COVID-19 has gone away completely.
Anxiety from the pandemic may never go away
For instance, the stress of losing a job due to Covid cut-backs is over, and maybe you replaced it with an even better job. On the other hand, the pain from losing a loved one due to the coronavirus may never heal. And for those who describe themselves as "long haulers" with post-COVID-19 syndrome the mental and physical pain may be with them for the rest of their lives.
Two regional healthcare providers team up to provide free brain health coaching
For anyone experiencing stress, feeling overwhelmed, or burned out, due to any circumstances related to COVID-19, Hillcrest Family Services, based in Dubuque, and Unity Point Health – AbbeHealth Services, based in Cedar Rapids, are offering free brain health coaching sessions for adults and children of any age.
