I've been lucky enough to do some fun promotions and activities during local baseball games. The Rockford Riverhawks let me throw out the 1st pitch a few years ago. That was a huge thrill for me.

The Chicago Cubs have lots of great opportunities like that at their games. Throwing out the 1st pitch at Wrigley is definitely a bucket list item for me. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like the type of thing that the average fan would ever get to do.

The activities during the game like throwing out the 1st pitch, singing the National Anthem, or even leading the 7th inning stretch are reserved for celebrities. Rarely do you witness a normal fan participating in those promotions.

The Cubs are doing something special this season. They are allowing regular fans to throw out the 1st pitch at Wrigley Field. This is something very rare in Major League Baseball but the experience of a lifetime some a few lucky fans.
