Boil Advisory Issued for Hazleton

There is a boil advisory that will go into effect today at 2pm, for the city of Hazleton.

Crews are replacing old water valves, and 2 water hydrants, and as a result, there was a loss of water pressure, and the possibility of contamination.

The advisory will be in effect until authorities report clean water samples, which may take until Saturday, or as late as Monday.

All drinking water and water used for cooking in Hazleton should be boiled as a precaution.
