Area Men Arrested for Violations in Oelwein

A traffic stop early this (Friday) morning (Aug. 5) has resulted in the arrest of an Oelwein man.

Oelwein Police pulled over a car at about 6am, in the 10 block of 6th Avenue SE.

Following an investigation, the driver, 34 year old Joshua Levendusky, was taken into custody for Driving While his License is Revoked, which is a serious misdemeanor.

And Oelwein Police have arrested a local man following an incident in the 300 block of 6th Street NE.

At around 11pm Thursday (Aug. 4), 20 year old James Toms of Oelwein was taken into custody for Going Armed with Intent-a Class "D" felony, and Domestic Assault-a Serious Misdemeanor.
