It's looking more and more like Black Friday will be on an actual Friday in 2020. KWQC reports major electronics retailer Best Buy will join Walmart and Target in staying closed on Thanksgiving this year.

Best Buy noted in its press release that shoppers can still make purchases through BestBuy's website and the Best Buy app, and the electronics company is committed to offering its biggest deals of the season earlier than ever (see the full press release here)

Whether it's COVID-19 pandemic, or a true change in attitude among major retailers, having three massive big box stores stay closed Thanksgiving is a clear indicator Americans, or at least employees, want to spend Thanksgiving at home. Best Buy has yet to indicate what their hours will be for Black Friday, or if they'll enforce social distancing. They are one of the many retailers now requiring customers to don a mask upon entry.
