Created by Danish artist Thomas Dambo who is known for his massive, zero-waste trolls scattered all over the world. His latest creation right here in the Detroit Lakes area is actually his biggest yet! It's called "Alexa's Elixir."
According to Time Magazine, Dambo felt there was something truly special about that part of Minnesota. He said the sight of lakes everywhere and the enchanting wildlife made it feel like a real-life fairytale and that pushed him to go all out on his next project!
What makes all of this even more cool, this magical world was all brought to life with the help of hundreds of local volunteers.
Now, finding these trolls is like a treasure hunt, as their exact location is a secret. If you want to find them, you’ll have to crack some riddles first. Or, you can always find your way to them by checking out Dambo’s troll map!
