3rd of 6 Suspects Arrested in Drug Investigation

Authorities have arrested a third suspect connected with a drug bust in Fayette County.

At about 8am Wednesday (Feb. 1), 47 year old Roger Nichols of West Union was arrested in Oelwein. Nichols was wanted for a Fayette County warrant for a Probation Violation: the original charges were Possession with Intent to Deliver, and Prohibited Acts.

Nichols was taken into custody by Oelwein Police.

Nichols is the 3rd of 6 suspects in the West Union drug investigation.

On Monday night 42 year old Samantha Darling of West Union was arrested for a probation violation, with the original charge being possession of a controlled substance-3rd and subsequent offense.

39 year old Tina Schuler of West Union was arrested last week for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Those suspects still unaccounted for include:
40 year old David Shannon, 49 year old Tina Nichols, and 52 year old Herman Ronnfeldt.
Ronnfeldt is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver.

Ronnfeldt is also on the state sex offender registry.
