This weekend is one of the greatest weekends in sports, in my opinion. You have the Superbowl, the opening day of march madness, and then you have The Masters golf tournament.

There really is nothing quite like Masters Sunday, in all of sports. Getting excited over the slowest moving sport has a uniqueness to it, that I love. I know, golf can be boring to watch but if you're like me and enjoy the game, every, single, shot, is exciting. There also happens to be a Cedar Rapids man in the tournament this year. His name is Zach Johnson and he can win you a whole lotta money. He actually won the Tournament back in 2007. Maybe this is his repeat year?

How Can Zach Johnson Win Me Money?

At the time of writing this, Zach Johnson is at +25000 to win the entire tournament according to Draft Kings. That means if you bet $100 on Zach to win the tournament and he does, you'd win $25,000 dollars. If that doesn't get you excited about golf, I don't know what will. Not only can you cheer for a hometown Iowan, but you can also enjoy the thrill of possibly winning big. You don't have to just bet on golfers and where they end up, you can also bet on the possibility of a hole-in-one happening, you can gamble on the top left-handed golfer or international player who finishes the best. If you enjoy watching other sports for the fun of these prop bets, they have those at the Masters as well.

Of course, you don't have to gamble or cheer for anyone in particular to enjoy the Masters tournament. Just seeing the beautiful landscape that goes into the course at Augusta, Georgia, is amazing to check out. It's been so cloudy in Iowa the past two weeks, I'm excited about seeing how green the grass is. The ever-popular Tiger Woods decided this week he was going to play in this tournament. This will be the first time he's played since his terrible car accident back in 2021. Watching the ending ceremony for the winner is not only unique to golf but to sports in general. The winner receives the illustrious "Green Jacket" from the previous winner. He then keeps the jacket for one year before having to return it to Augusta.

Whether you're an avid golfer or truly don't care at all, there are things you can enjoy and take part in when watching the Masters. If you can find anything to get excited about, you can take a boring average Sunday in April and make it one of your favorite sporting days of the year.

At the time of writing this Zach Johnson is at +1 through hole 10. He's currently tied for 26th.
