Woman Now Charged in 2 Accidents from April

Charges have now been filed against a motorist involved in an April accident at a Northeast Iowa convenience store.

According to the Fayette County Sheriff's Office, 69 year old Nancy Flores of Fayette has been charged with operating while intoxicated-1st offense, and failure to maintain control.

The accident happened at around 10pm April 2nd; Flores was involved in a two-vehicle accident at the Pumper Gas Station in Fayette. The other car was owned by Marcella Klemp of Fayette.

Flores then fled the scene and was involved in another accident on Lover's Lane in Fayette; in that incident, her car struck a tree and was totaled.

Flores and her passenger were treated at the West Union hospital for minor injuries.
