DURANGO, Iowa (AP) — A Durango woman accused of stealing more than $365,000 from a disabled aunt has pleaded not guilty in the case.

44-year-old Molly Bodish entered the plea Monday at her arraignment in Dubuque County District Court to one count of criminal conduct.

Dubuque police say they began investigating the possible abuse of an 80-year-old woman in May 2015, after her death.

Police say a search of the woman's bank records show Bodish wrote checks to herself or for her personal use from her aunt's account totaling more than $365,000 over several years.
