Woman Charged After Crashing into a Utility Pole

A Northeast Iowa woman is being charged with causing a one-vehicle accident in Bremer County.

It happened just before 2pm Saturday (Jan. 20), in the 1400 block of V-14, east of Plainfield.

A car driven by 55 year old Mildred Liddle of Plainfield, went off the road and hit a utility pole.

No injuries were reported; there was considerable damage to Liddle's 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix and the utility pole.

Liddle has been charged with Failure to Maintain Control.
