Winneshiek Sheriff Catches Men Smoking Pot in Car

Four residents of Postville face charges, after being caught allegedly smoking marijuana in their stopped vehicle.

At about 8:30pm Saturday (Feb. 10), the Winneshiek County Sheriff received a report of four men sitting in a vehicle, smoking pot. The car was found along Old Stage Road near Decorah.

The four were identified as 23 year old Mohamedrashid Hassan Mohamed, 21 year old Mohamed Salman Abdi, 25 year old Igal Ayanle, and 23 year old Dimbil Abdi, all of Postville.

The suspects were taken to the Winneshiek County jail in Decorah. The sheriff's office was assisted by Decorah Police.
