Winneshiek County Sheriff Arrests 3 on Felony Drug Charges

Three Northeast Iowa residents face nine felony charges in a recent drug bust.

The Winneshiek County Sheriff executed a search warrant on Friday (June 1), of a residence in Ridgeway.

Officers arrested 29 year old Jason Baumgartner and 26 year old Jayme Baumgartner, both of Ridgeway, and 24 year old Mersadie Rehorst of Dubuque.

All three are being charged with felony counts of controlled substance violations regarding methamphetamine, controlled substance violations for marijuana, and possession of use of a false drug tax stamp.

Jayme Baumgartner is being held on $20,000 bond, while Jason Baumgartner and Mersadie Rehorst are held on $30,000 bond each.

This drug case is still under investigation.

The Winneshiek County sheriff was aided by the Iowa State Patrol and the Winneshiek County Attorney's Office.
