West Union Police Arrest Local Man for Drugs

A West Union man is facing several illegal drug charges following a search earlier this week.

On Wednesday (Sept. 26), Deon Snell was taken into custody by the West Union Police Department, initially for the charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine and Marijuana) with Intent to Distribute, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

After the arrest, police applied for a search warrant for Snell's home at 118 Elm Street in West Union. There, officers found drug paraphernalia, controlled substances (methamphetamine and marijuana), and also seized some electronic devices.
