A Northeast Iowa man has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a 15 year old girl.

On Friday (Feb. 21), the Fayette County Sheriff searched a home in West Union, investigating a sexual assault.

Following the search, 22 year old James Hill was taken into custody for Sex Abuse in the Third Degree. During the execution of the search warrant at Hill's home, officers seized evidence of an incident at the home, in which Hill is accused of sexually assaulting a 15 year old female.

Hill was held in the Fayette County jail on $10,000 bond, but he bonded out on Saturday.

The Fayette County Sheriff was assisted by the West Union Police Department.
