The Fayette County Sheriff reports a couple of weekend traffic accidents, one of which involved a U-Haul trailer.

That accident happened just before 8am Saturday (Nov. 18), north of Wadena on Cedar Road. The driver, 60 year old Susan Kress of Clinton, was traveling south in her SUV, towing a twin-axle enclosed U-Haul trailer. Kress lost control of her vehicle and drove into the ditch, where both the vehicle and the trailer rolled onto the passenger side.

Kress was not hurt, but her 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer was totaled. She is being charged with Failure to Maintain Control.

No one was injured, but Olson's 1990 Mercury Grand Marquis was totaled. The accident is being investigated by the Fayette County Sheriff's Office.
