Authorities in nearby Southwest Wisconsin are asking for the public's help in finding the person involved in a motorcycle accident last Wednesday night (Aug. 11.).

At about 10pm Wednesday, the Grant County Sheriff was asked to check on a person who was walking along a county road in Wyalusing Township, with visible injuries.

The responding officer found the man, in his upper 20's or early 30's, apparently walking along the county road, while intoxicated.

The man did not cooperate with the officer, refusing to give any details on what had happened to him. The man then took off, running away from the deputy.

The next morning, just before 7am, the sheriff got a report of a motorcycle crash along a county road in Wyalusing Township. The bike was found by a nearby resident, who told authorities that the cycle was in the ditch next to his driveway.

By the time the investigating deputy arrived, the motorcycle and the debris from the accident, were removed from the scene.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the Grant County Sheriff's Office.
