Weekend Arrests in Fayette County
The Fayette County Sheriff's Office has arrested 3 area people involved in separate weekend incidents.
At about 11pm Saturday (May 22), 26 year old Alyssa Garrison of Clermont was taken into custody on a warrant from the Department of Corrections. Garrison had been put on escaped status from the West Union Residential Facility. Garrison is being held in the Fayette County jail on no bond. The sheriff was assisted by the Iowa State Patrol.
Shortly after 1pm Saturday, a Dunkerton woman, 57 year old Michele Hayes, drove herself to the Fayette County jail to visit an inmate. The officer who checked Hayes' driver's license, noted that her license had previously been suspended. Hayes was taken into custody at the Fayette County jail for the charge of Driving While her License is Suspended.
And just before 8:30pm Friday (May 21), the sheriff and Iowa State Patrol were called to a disturbance at a residence in Hawkeye. Investigating officers arrested 42 year old Nathan Lutgen of Hawkeye for the charge of 2nd Offense Domestic Abuse Assault.
