Weekend Arrests in Buchanan County

The Buchanan County Sheriff reports 3 arrests over the weekend, in separate incidents.

At about 1am Saturday (Sept. 7), 49 year old Frederick Degreif of Wadena was taken into custody after a traffic stop in the 300 block of North Main Street in Hazleton. Degreif is being charged with Driving While his License is Revoked, Driving While his License is Suspended, and Failure to have required SR-22 insurance.

Also at approximately 1am Saturday, deputies arrested 31 year old Nathan Williams of Oelwein for an active arrest warrant from Buchanan County. The charge is Failure to Appear.

And at about 4pm Saturday, Buchanan County Deputies took 58 year old Michael Halstead of Winthrop, into custody, in the 3,000 block of 200th Street, northeast of Winthrop.
Halstead was charged with 1st Degree Harassment.
