A Prairie du Chien man has been arrested over the weekend, on several illegal drug charges.

At about 2am Saturday (March 23), the Crawford County Sheriff pulled a car over in Freeman Township, across the river from Lansing. The driver, 32 year old Kyle Vanderbilt, is on active parole for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Meth Precursers. He had an active felony warrant for his arrest, and according to deputies, showed signs of drug impairment.

The sheriff's K-9, Breck, was called in and alerted officers that there were drugs present in the vehicle.
A search of the vehicle turned up methamphetamine along with items associated with it's sale, paraphernalia, and counterfeit money.

Vanderbilt was taken to the Crawford County jail and charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, operating with a restricted controlled substance 5th offense, possession of a schedule 4 controlled substance, possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia, and operating after revocation.
