Weekend Armed Robbery at NE Iowa Convenience Store

Authorities are asking for the public's assistance, for information in an armed robbery in the Jackson County community of Andrew.

At about 10pm Saturday, the Jackson County Sheriff was called to an incident at the Andrew Country Mart convenience store.

An employee of the business told deputies that a man and woman entered the store, both wearing ski masks.

A handgun was displayed, and the assailants ordered the employee to give them all of the money.

The couple then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Anyone with information on the armed robbery is asked to call the Jackson County Sheriff's office in Maquoketa.
