Weekend Accident in Clayton County, Has Claimed Another Life
A deadly weekend traffic accident in Clayton County, has claimed another life.
25 year old Dystany Moran of Independence was a passenger on a motorcycle driven by her husband, that was struck by a small SUV. She has now died of her injuries at University Hospitals
The crash happened on Highway 13 late Saturday afternoon, southeast of St. Olaf. A compact sport utility vehicle driven by 61 year old Joan Fish of Luana, crashed into two oncoming motorcycles.
One of the drivers, 57 year old James Everett of Jesup, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other motorcycle was operated by 26 year old Jacob Moran of Independence.
According to sources, his wife, Dystany Moran, died of her injuries late Tuesday afternoon. Jacob Moran is being treated at the same hospital.
The Independence couple were newlyweds, married last September.
