Waucoma Man Arrested After Stolen Property Found in His Home
Authorities have filed burglary and theft charges against a Waucoma man, after a search turned up stolen property.
On September 25th, the Fayette Police Department executed a search warrant at 500 South Main Street in the city of Fayette. Evidence in that search prompted another search warrant later that same night in Waucoma. The Fayette Police Department and Fayette County Sheriff searched a property occupied by 34 year old Nicholas Olliney.
During the search, officers recovered over $1,000 in stolen property. Authorities also confiscated several drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Olliney was taken into custody on charges of 3rd Degree Burglary, and Theft in the 2nd Degree.
He was held in the Fayette County jail.
Authorities from the police department and county sheriff note that these are examples of local agencies working together, to create a safer community for all.
