Waterloo PD Looking for Car That Hit Teen Girl

WATERLOO, Iowa (AP) — Authorities have been seeking the driver of a car that struck a 13-year-old girl who was walking across a Waterloo street.

Lyisha Dixon was hit a little before 1 a.m. Sunday while walking with her 16-year-old cousin, who was not struck.

The injured girl was taken to an Iowa City hospital for treatment of facial injuries.
