
Waterloo Man Makes Plea in Fatal July Shooting
WATERLOO, Iowa (AP) — A Waterloo man has pleaded guilty to a reduced charge in the July shooting death of another man.
25-year-old Jacques Dominique Williamson pleaded guilty Friday to a single count of intimidation with a dangerous weapon. He faces up to 10 years in prison when he's sentenced.
Williamson had been charged with first-degree murder and attempted murder for his role the July 17 drive-by shooting that killed 21-year-old Otavious Brown and injured Dewon Campbell Jr. and Aundrey Roberts Jr. Court records describe Williamson as the driver in the shooting.
Others charged in the case are 20-year-old Shavondes Shavez Martin, a 17-year-old and a 15-year-old. The Associated Press does not generally name juveniles charged with crimes.
