Waterloo Man Arrested in Fayette County After Complaint

A Waterloo man has been arrested early this morning (Wednesday, July 29), on a driving violation in Fayette County.

Shortly after 3:30am today, the Fayette County Sheriff received a driving complaint involving an SUV, that was westbound on Highway 18 from Clermont, headed to West Union.

Deputies located and stopped the vehicle matching the caller's description.

During the investigation, the officers discovered the driver, 55 year old Terry Townsend of Waterloo, was driving with a revoked license.  No other charges were indicated.

He was held in the Fayette County jail until his initial court appearance.
