Waterloo Man Arrested After the Report of a Suspicious Vehicle

A Waterloo man has been arrested in Fayette County, after authorities received a report of a suspicious vehicle.

At about 8pm Monday (March 11), the Fayette County Sheriff was alerted of a suspicious vehicle, located on East Street in the town of Oran. Deputies located the vehicle, and following an investigation, arrested 44 year old Dylane Braun of Waterloo, on a charge of Operating While Intoxicated (Drugged), 1st Offense. Braun was taken to the Fayette County jail, where he was held until his initial court appearance.

An Elgin man was taken into custody late Monday afternoon, for an outstanding warrant. 21 year old Paul Franzen Jr. was taken into custody for Failure to Appear in court, on the charge of Criminal Mischief-2nd Offense. Franzen was held on a $750 bond.

Also Monday night, a Waucoma man was taken to jail after a traffic stop, northwest of Hawkeye. 27 year old James Langreck was wanted in Bremer County, for a sex offender registry violation. Langreck was held in Fayette County, until he could be extradited to Bremer County.
