There was the second recent shooting at the same location

This is the second recent shooting at the Prime Part on Broadway. Back in late November, Waterloo Police confirmed two people were shot and transported to Iowa City, where both survived their injuries. The victims were 24-year old Robert Coffer and 25-year old Joseph Bennett. As of now, there have been no arrests in this shooting.

The Courrier reports this shooting happened after an argument. The participants were removed from the store, and the situation continued outside the Prime Mart, at which time the shooting occurred. It's not clear how many shooters there were, or if the two men shot were involved in the dispute, but police recovered numerous spent shell casings.
