WATERLOO, Iowa (AP) — A Waterloo man accused of crashing his SUV into a house, killing a person inside, has been charged with vehicular homicide.

25-year-old Weadeh Noush Tucker was arrested Tuesday on an arrest warrant charging him in the case.

Police say Tucker told investigators he had been drinking when he blacked out behind the wheel of the SUV around 12:30 a.m. June 29. Police say he awoke to yelling just before slamming into the wall of home and hitting 84-year-old Milo "Mike" VanSchoyck, who was sleeping.

VanSchoyck died at a hospital on July 3 from his injuries.
