Vandalism and a Burglary Investigated in Oelwein

The Oelwein Police Department is investigating a couple of recent incidents, involving a break-in and some vandalism.

Shortly after 2:30pm Wednesday (Jan. 6), officers were dispatched to the 10 block of 6th Avenue SE to look into Criminal Mischief.

And Oelwein Police were called out just before 8:30am on December 24th, to look into a burglary in the 100 block of 1st Avenue SW.

No other details were released; both cases are under investigation.
